El Curso Inicial para Trabajadores de Reducción de Plomo de la USEPA es una capacitación de 16 horas (2 días) que enseña a los estudiantes cómo configurar y llevar a cabo proyectos de eliminación de plomo, mientras aprenden las regulaciones aplicables y el equipo de protección personal adecuado necesario. Los estudiantes participarán en una variedad de ejercicios en clase, así como talleres prácticos que incluyen la configuración del sitio de trabajo y de descontaminación, métodos de reducción (eliminación, reemplazo y confinamiento) y procedimientos de limpieza final.
Al completar exitosamente este curso, recibirás un certificado de finalización del curso que te permitirá trabajar durante un período de 6 meses como trabajador de reducción de plomo, mientras completas el proceso de solicitud de la USEPA para obtener tu licencia completa de 3 años.
