The Mold Abatement Worker Initial course is a 2-day, 16-hour training program designed to teach students how to safely and effectively remove mold. Students will learn how to protect themselves and others while doing mold cleanup work.
The course covers a range of topics through engaging methods like demonstrations, discussions, problem-solving exercises, and role-playing activities. There will also be plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions and interact with the instructor.
Hands-on workshops are a key part of the course. Students will practice using personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection, setting up and cleaning up work areas, and performing mold remediation procedures.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to handle mold remediation tasks safely and efficiently.
